The ISO 9001 standard shows that Norstat has implemented and operates according to an international quality management system that demonstrates its ability to fulfill customer requirements, meet regulatory standards and enhance customer satisfaction.

As required by ISO standards, eight quality management principles are built into the 9001 certification. These are; customer focus, leadership, employee training, process improvement, systems approach, continual improvement, metrics driven performance and improved customer relationships. To meet these principles, Norstat has developed a comprehensive set of documentation material that covers every aspect of its market research operations. A formalized and documented approach from management has enabled Norstat to improve the quality of its products and services and become competitive in the international market place.

“Preparing for the ISO 9001:2008 certification took 18 months of comprehensive effort involving every employee and every process," says CEO, John Lauring Pedersen.
